And now for something a little different….We want to animate your child’s BPOD (Best Part of Day). Send us a short recording of your child talking about their BPOD and we’ll bring their experience to life in an animated video (see video above)! We’ll never disclose their name or age, just share their journey and insight through their words.
Email your recording to my Seattle Mama Doc email (seattlemamadoc@seattlechildrens.org) by Feb 26, and we’ll select 5-10 recordings to animate and share the first week of March. As a note, I typically record these audio recordings on my iPhone (in “voice memos”) and it allows me to email or share them easily. See below for more details & the text you’ll need to include when you send your audio files!
Legal disclaimer
All email submissions must include the following (just copy and paste this into your email, please):
I consent to the publication of my child’s audio recording, telling about the best part of their day. I authorize Dr. Wendy Sue Swanson on behalf of Seattle Children’s Hospital, its programs and affiliates, to use the audio file for a Seattle Mama Doc video and blog post. Such use may include editing, adaptation, excerpting or other modification.
I can revoke this authorization by notifying seattlemamadoc@seattlechildrens.org or (206) 987-7446. I understand that if I do revoke this authorization, it won’t affect any actions that Seattle Children’s Hospital or Dr. Swanson have already taken.

Love this! We will share it and hope that some of our parents will submit their kiddos BPOD

Thanks — I do, too. First entry is an automatic BPOD that will get included. 🙂

If my 17-month old could only form the words…. can’t WAIT to begin to hear what he has to tell me about his days! Love this idea!!
